  • 1 (15 oz) package of pretzel snaps (square waffle-shaped pretzels)

  • 1 (14 oz) package of candy corn


  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius). Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet.

  2. Arrange the pretzels on the tray in a single layer. Add a Hersey's Hug in the center of each pretzel.

  3. Bake until hugs start to melt slightly, 4 to 5 minutes. The chocolate candies should be soft but not completely melted.

  4. Remove from the oven and immediately put a candy corn on top of each hug to seal in the chocolate. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to cool.

Pumpkin Bread with Brown Sugar Pecan Topping


  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour (240g)

  • 1 ¼ Teaspoon Baking Powder

  • ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 1 ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon

  • ½ Teaspoon Salt

  • ½ Teaspoon Nutmeg

  • ½ Teaspoon Cloves

  • ¼ Teaspoon Ginger

  • 1 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice

  • 4 Large Eggs

  • 15 oz Pumpkin Puree

  • 1 Cup Sugar

  • ½ Cup Packed Light Brown Sugar

  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • ⅔ Cup Vegetable Oil (160ml)


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease two 8×4 loaf pans.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and pumpkin pie spice

  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil until well combined.

  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture, beating until thoroughly combined.

  5. Evenly divide the batter into the prepared loaf pans.

Brown Sugar Pecan Topping:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, flour, chopped pecans, and melted butter until a crumbly texture forms.

  2. Sprinkle this irresistible topping over both loaves.


  1. Place the loaf pans in the preheated oven and bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies


  • 1 Cup Shortening

  • 2 Cups Packed Brown Sugar

  • 2 Large Eggs, Room Temperature

  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 3-1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 1-1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder

  • 1-1/2 Teaspoons Baking Soda

  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger

  • 1-1/2 Cups Canned Pumpkin


  • 1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour

  • Dash Salt

  • 3/4 Cup 2% Milk

  • 1 Cup Shortening

  • 2 Cups Confectioners' Sugar

  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract


  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Cream shortening and brown sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. In another bowl, whisk the next 6 ingredients; beat into creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin.

  2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets; flatten slightly with the back of a spoon. Bake for 10-11 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.

  3. For filling, combine flour and salt in a small saucepan. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium; cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Refrigerate, and cover until completely cooled.

  4. In another bowl, beat shortening, confectioners' sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add chilled milk mixture; beat until light and fluffy, about 7 minutes. Spread on the bottoms of half of the cookies; cover with remaining cookies. Store in the refrigerator.
